My name is Elias Yoder but some people know me as Mryodawg, as you learned on my welcome page, I am an Actor, Content Creator, and Influencer. I absolutely love the work I do and everything I do has a purpose. Whether it is to happily entertain people with my interviews and films, impact people by standing up for injustices, or help people with life advice and wisdom. It all comes from my heart and creative mind.
My brother and I were adopted from Ethiopia, Africa at age 3. We grew up with our Minnesotan family. From a young age, we both had creative minds; we would work on little short films together and talk about the many ideas we had.
I am now grinding to make those ideas and dreams come to life. My mother always taught me to "take the higher road" so wherever I go, I will remember this and work to be kind and loving in any situation.
MY EXPERIENCE
My skills + My character in the work I do and the people I meet each day of my life are exactly what you are looking for. I have expounded my knowledge and skills in my fields of interest and particular talent. I am grateful to say I've had to opportunity to Emcee in front of thousands of people, be an anchor on my school's news team, and star in multiple theater productions. And that's just the beginning.
I have had the pleasure of meeting great Hollywood coaches, editors, and industry experts. I have gained knowledge and skills from their years in work and I strive to not only take in all of their advice but also put myself out there and not let fear hold me back from what I was born to do. With that I know where ever I go I must treat each person, with dignity, respect, and love. Each person I encounter deserves to not be judged and that's why that is one of my core values and aligns with the work that I do.
I have great experience being in front of the camera and interpreting scripts, naturally and in character. My brother and I produce short films that I star in. I am experienced in editing on Adobe Premier Pro and have gained great insight into the production world. When producing content at remotely, on the road, or in my home office I use high-grade cameras and crisp-quality microphones that will work perfectly for any project.
